Does the Versa Batter just stop working after a year or so? Mine would hold a charge for about 4 days and now after about 1 day its dead.

Hi @msclark - That is not the case with mine or my daughter’s. Please try re-starting your Versa and let us know how it goes.

Hello, I have the same experience, even after restarting. Although I can use it a day and a half it is still a sharp degradation from just a couple of month when it could work for 3-4 days.
Seems like it's degraded. Is it possible to change the battery?

My wife has the exact same issue. Her Versa is almost 1 year old and over the last 2 weeks the watch would not hold a charge for more than a day. It seems to be getting worst by the day also.

Contact the support desk and work with them to get it resolved. I've been working with them for a day - they've been great, but it looks like mine is going back for replacement. I've been experiencing the same battery depletion until last night when it died completely.

I restarted it but still having the same issues! Contacted Support and after I do a battery drain test I am supposed to email them back. Very frustrating!!!

Yep I hear you.. I felt the same way with mine, but bear with it. Troubleshooting is all just part of the process of getting to the bottom of an issue. It's a pain for sure, but ultimately helpful.

Okay.. Update time! I received my replacement Vers yesterday and, minus a couple of quirky moments with notifications and syncing behaviour, it seems OK. Hopefully it was just bedding in. I'm going to continue testing it for a week and report back here and with a fitbit support.

Mine is the same - got it for my birthday in August last year and two weeks ago it suddenly started to drain really quickly, going from 4/5 days lifespan down to less than 48 hours. It was also around the time of the recent app update....
Will be contacting Customer Service but don't you love the Apple-esque battery lifespan???

As I look at it I wouldn't like to say what it is that's triggered it all,
whether it's the app or the hardware, but I'm leaning towards hardware in
spite of the fact that I wonder whether it's software which may trigger it.
I'm running a new Versa on the latest app with the updated interface (which
seems to be user account server based rather than inherent to the app) and
the lifespan appears to be back to standard. From 100% to the present 83%
in around 18 hours with some significant use to get its apps installed and
set up, including some sync and notification tests, and real world action.

Contact customer support right away, hopefully it still under warranty. Good luck!

After following all of the troubleshooting steps, restarting and doing a battery drain test working with customer support the final response was it is out of warranty, but we will give you a discount if you want to buy a new device but only on certain ones. So all in all, buyer beware the Versa is great but at some point the battery will just stop working like it was and you will have to charge it daily.

After leaving the watch to run the battery down and shut down the watch is now holding a charge. Had previously double checked to make sure there were no third party apps installed but battery was still not holding the charge. Seems like the battery needed a deep cycle discharge to reset the chemistry.
