Had my watch replaced because battery was no longer holding charge, now my replacement is having issues. I raved about fitbit to my friends, but no more. It's a joke that in 2019 if you leave your watch on a charger longer than 4hours it's not smart enough to stop from overcharging and ruining the battery. I accidentally forgot and left my watch on the charger for 8 hours and now my second watch is ruined.

May I ask how you are charging it. As I leave mine on my computer all night and it going fine after 3 years
See this thread for charging best practices. If you are not charging it correctly you could be damaging the battery

Most watches and cellphones today are able to handle being left on a charger for extended period. Most people don't use their computer like you to charge them. Fitbit needs to stop making excuses and admit they have flaw.
