Versa Bluetooth issues

This is my first Fitbit device & I’m pretty tech savvy (have apps & wallet all working perfectly), my biggest problem is with Bluetooth.

 

First Bluetooth issue was when trying to setup on my laptop: downloaded and installed program with no issues, connects to Bluetooth, but then program stalls (after finding it & doing the whole code entry during setup) & Versa disconnects from Bluetooth & therefore becomes lost to setup process. Have done all the troubleshooting: restarting, resetting, deleting Versa completely from profile, in all the correct order through forums, but still have staying connected to Bluetooth issues using laptop, not able to transfer iTunes music.

 

So I activate & start using Deezer, but when I connect it to any Bluetooth sound device (speakers, headphones, light bulb speaker, Bluetooth Aux dongle in car, all using 4.2), the sound stutters every few seconds or the sound is distorted/fuzzy. Have tried unpairing & repairing, deleting & pairing, but nothing works. Wondering if it’s my Versa Bluetooth (no issues with iPhone or iPad to these same Bluetooth devices) *big frustrated sigh*

Thanks for troubleshooting this issue by yourself. If you have already setup your device, you don't need to pair again to sync it with your computer. I recommend taking a look at the help article Why can't I download music and podcasts to my Fitbit watch? and follow the instructions provide there.

Now about Deezer, is this happening directly with the Deezer app or are you having any connection issue when your Versa is connecting to your phone and other device? Check the help article, Is the Fitbit app interfering with other Bluetooth devices?.

Hi Alejandra, thx 4 reply, sorry it’s taken me so long to get back to you (rl & health issues).

 

I have no issues bluetoothing to sound devices, connects easily, but the sound ‘stutters’ or gaps out every few seconds, it’s not the sound devices I’m connecting to as I have no issues if I connect with my iPad or iPhone. It’s only with my Versa that this issue happens, so I’m figuring I has something to do with it’s bluetooth. Can not get it to finish to setup on pc, as the Bluetooth keeps losing the connection, so I’m thinking I need to log a repair/replace, everything else on it works as it should. Deezer tsf of music using wifi works great - just can’t go walking with a Bluetooth headset because of the on/off on/off sound & just wanted to avoid taking & using my iPhone - kind of defeats the purpose of why I bought the watch o.O

Hi, I am having the same issue, music stutters (like a record jumping) for 9-10 minutes and then settles down. Its almost as if it is having to buffer. This only seems to happen when I am active e.g. on a treadmill if I am sitting on a train then are no issues. It is very annoying.

Update: It happens when the phone is out of Bluetooth range.
