I have a Versa and Pixel 2 XL. All notifications are working except for call notifications. When my Pixel is ringing I'm not notified on my Versa. After the ringing stops I receive a missed call notification on my Versa, but I never receive a notification while my Pixel is actually ringing. How might I resolve this?

I contacted support, and resolved the issue by enabling the vibration option. Thanks!

@PyynkBOB Welcome to the Fitbit Community! I hope you're doing well! Sorry to hear that you aren't getting call notifications from your Pixel 2 XL on your Versa. You can try refreshing the link between both by going to the bluetooth settings area on your phone and removing all devices listed there (not only the Versa). Restart your phone and then restart your Versa by doing the following:
2.- Let go of the buttons.
3.- If your Fitbit watch doesn't work normally, use the instructions in How do I turn off my Fitbit device? to turn your watch off and on again.
Check that the Fitbit app is up to date and that it has the necessary permissions (settings > apps > Fitbit > permissions). After this sync your tracker again with the app and enable notifications again. Also check your privacy settings so it shows calls on the locked screen. Finally make sure the Vibration Settings are turned on on the notifications area on the app.
Let me know how it goes!

@PyynkBOB thank you for the update and really happy to hear that your Versa is now getting notifications from your Pixel 2 XL phone. I just wanted to know which vibrations did you enabled? On the Versa itself or on the app? I believe you mean the option on the app but I just want to confirm as this information may help other members in the same situation.
I look forward to your reply!

In the app, under Notifications, support advised me to enable "Always Vibrate", which worked, but it also had the undesired effect of my Versa receiving notifications all of the time, even when my phone is in Do Not Disturb mode, so I ultimately disabled it again, and learned to accept that I won't receive incoming call notifications on my Versa. I've since noticed that if a call occurs while my phone is unlocked, my Versa does receive the incoming call notification. When my phone is locked, the incoming call notifications don't appear on my Versa. So, in short, it seems to be an issue related to my phone being locked or unlocked.

@PyynkBOB thank you for replying! Something you could try is instead of disabling the notifications on your phone try disabling them on your Versa. This way you will have a better control of when and where you get notifications. You can long press the right button and you will see the option to either enable or disable notifications.
Keep me posted!

That method doesn't appeal to me as I only ever want notifications on everywhere, or off everywhere.

I had the exact same issue; I'm so glad I ran across your post in here. Thanks!!! I also enabled the vibration setting and it seemed to resolve my issue with the Pixel 2 XL. I agree with you, it seems to be an issue when the phone is unlocked and locked.

Does every incoming call you receive show up as Unkown caller on your versa? Even when the I have the contact saved in my phonebook, the caller ID always shows Unkown caller on the versa. Are you experiencing similar issue? I did find that if I let the call go, my notification on the versa will say I have a missed call from the contacts name.

@jjhuffman Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! This sounds more like a privacy setting issue. Try checking the following settings on the privacy area on your phone:
Settings (general phone settings) >App>Messages>Notifications>
Allow Notifications>ON
On Lock Screen>Show Content
Also,
Open Messages>Tap 3 dots at top>Settings>Notifications>
Popup Display > ON
Preview Message > ON
@PyynkBOB thanks for the feedback!

Your instructions seem to be incomplete, and I'm unable to follow them. Will you please repeat your instructions, being sure to provide every discrete step, and being sure to provide the exact names of the on screen items?
Thanks!

Everything works on my fitbit versa, EXCEPT for the incoming call name on the versa. I get the notification that i have an incoming call, however it always shows as Unkown Caller no matter if I have the contact saved in my contacts. I've checked and verified all my settings on my phone and fitbit and cannot get the incoming call to show the name of the person calling.

I have tried everything and still unknown caller each time in Versa paired with Pixel 2. All other notifications work fine except the calls.
Is a fix coming for this?

Sounds like a Pixel-Versa issue. I also receive call notifications, but only "unknown caller" comes up. Any fix yet?
