Versa Family Touchscreen

It seems as though the touchscreen issues exist throughout the Versa family, and the "just reset it" fix doesn't fix it at all... I would really like the smartwatch experience with the Fitbit touch, but the issue for mine (Versa) is driving me more and more to my Apple Watch... can we at least get an answer as to whether or not this is a hardware or software issue, and if the latter, can we expect a fix anytime soon?

Fitbit hasn't said, you may need to ask Fitbit this question.
