I have a Versa, not Versa 2. It's a replacement unit. My 3rd actually but we won't get into that.
I just removed the broken one from my account and went through the process of adding the replacement to my account via iPhone app.
All completed but:
The watch shows firmware version 32.33.1.30
The iPhone app shows it is firmware version 33.1.30
The firmware on the Watch is previous version and because the app shows the current version I cannot get an update.
I removed the app, rebooted phone, rebooted watch, reinstalled app but no change.
Any ideas?

Correction. I believe the most current FW is 32.70.7.14 but watch shows previous version 32.33.1.30
The app shows only the 33.1.30 part.
Something is screwy.
Won't show any firmware update cause the app version number is wacky.
Dashboard on PC shows same thing. Attempting update from there displays Versa is up to date!

You don't have to really believe @kandg, simply go to the help docs.
Your firmware is 4 versions out of date.
That is what's up, I suggest that you contact Fitbit
