Versa GPS tracking suddenly stopped

I completed a 10k today, I ended the walk and the watch screen said 10.39km, however the gps only tracked 6.3 and my heart rate also did not record for the duration of the walk.. however the steps counted and when I click into the 6.3km map, it has times for 10 laps, so why the sudden drop in signal for heart and map?

To better assist you with this, can you please let me know which mobile device are you using with your Fitbit Versa to track your exercise using GPS? When was the first time you experienced this issue and how many times since then? In the meantime I receive your answers, please restart your Fitbit and try the following steps to troubleshoot the app:

  1. Force quit the Fitbit app.
  2. Uninstall the app from your mobile device.
  3. Make sure that the OS version of your phone is up to date.
  4. Reboot your mobile device.
  5. Reinstall the Fitbit app.
  6. Login using your account credentials.
