Versa HR and battery issues

My Versa has been working just fine but all of the sudden the HR monitor goes into the high 100s while I'm not doing anything.  

The battery drained within a matter of hours even after I have turned the HR monitor OFF.

I have tried all the worthless suggestions and wasted too much time in these board forums looking for a fix.

I have turned the HR monitor on/off, turned the watch on/off, both multiple times in different sequences.  I've also done a factory reset, deleted the app on my phone and readded.

I DO NOT WANT/NEED to spend hours on the phone either.  I just want my device to work like it did last week without all the issues.
