Versa Heartrate way off

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

So I’ve had futbuts for years, charge, charge HR, Blaze, and now the versa.  I love my fit bits however there are issues at times.  So my new versa I love but I noticed during my first run with it today my heart rate was way off like 30bom to the high side.  And I know it’s off because my blaze, my Apple Watch and my polar chest strap were all with 5bpm from each other when I ran, but the new versa is way high.  Anyone else seen this??

I’m having the same isssue. I have tried the weights mode and elliptical mode. I will have just started and my HR will read 130 and go up to 160. I’ve done enough workouts to know that this is way off. Do you get detailed sleep stages in your sleep logs Tjgordon because I only simplified sleep stages.

So I do get sleep stages detailed but I am having the issue where it’s says I got 0 sleep even though it tracked my sleep.

And my heart rate shows 200 when I’m running and it should read like 159, I’d be dead if it was at 200 that is WAY over my max rate....lol

Me too. I did ask about your sleep stages because they are probably correlated.

Customer support is aware of the HR issue

Glad Fitbit is aware of it.  I was sitting at my desk at work yesterday and my HR was around 80. For kicks I started up one of the "Coach" activities on my Versa.  I was watching my HR, still sitting at my desk, and it went up to 150!  I checked my pulse and I was still around 80.

LOL

Tomorrow for my cardio I’m not going to use a exercise mode and see what the HR is. I’ll keep you posted

I didn’t use the exercise mode I always let it automatically detect I’m running and track it so I don’t think it will change

Having the same issues. Sitting at my desk at work and it thinks my heart rate is 105bpm. Checked on my other fitbit and my Samsung phone and is 75bpm, which is correct.. Hope they fix soon!

Now 130bpm... Just keeps going up! Even when I take the watch off it keeps reading this... Almost like when it can't get a reading it just makes it up...

Yes mine is way off too!  I am pretty fit and while on the treadmill my rate is registering 200 when it is normally 120 on my other Fitbit’s.  Help!

I've had the same issue. My Charge HR gave heart rates consistent with the rates from the elliptical and treadmill at the gym. However, the Versa gives numbers that are consistently a lot higher. Today it was 22 beats per minute higher than the measurements with the gym equipment. The heart rate measurements seem fine when I'm not moving -- at least, they're consistent with all the other measurements for the last couple of years -- but the exercise rates are way off.

As long as I know the exercise rates are inaccurate, it's not a huge problem, but it would be nice if Fitbit could finally get that right.

I feel like my heart rate is registering high with the Versa as well. As soon as I start a workout it’s registering in the fat burn zone.
