I have the Versa Lite, and I'd like to know how to do music controls.
my phone is a Galaxy S9. under my Bluetooth settings, it shows my Versa Light, but it doesn't do anything when I select it. its paired with my fit bit, I can see my notifications, excellent.
and when I press and hold the left button (fit bit), swipe right, it says " connect phone. Pair your phone in your Settings app, under Bluetooth."
I have downloaded the Spotify HR app, but it does not allow music control.

Hi, the Versa Lite Edition has no possibilty of on board music storage, see this: https://www.tomsguide.com/us/fitbit-versa-lite-vs-fitbit-versa,review-6247.html.

As @SunsetRunner said, you cannot store music on the Versa Lite, but you should be able to control music playing on your phone from the tracker.
I have never done this so can't comment on any issues with it, but here are the instructions:
How do I control music playing on my phone with my Fitbit device?

I had found the same issue and after fidgeting with my Fitbit versa lite, I have found the solution. Here we go:
1.Restart your Fitbit (hold down the side button for 10 seconds and it will do the rest on its own)
2. Connect your Fitbit to your phone via bluetooth on your phone. Make sure your music player app (spotify in your case) is open
3. On your Fitbit swipe to settings
4. In settings: scroll up until you see "bluetooth"
5. In this section it would say "Music via bluetooth: pair your phone of music control is not working
6. Next to that it would say on, keep tapping until it says pair. You want it to remain on pair
7. Now, leave your watch alone and go back to your bluetooth setting in your phone. You should see under available devices: Versa Lite (Classic) click it until it is paired and... WALA, the music control is paired
8. To check its paired hoold down your side button swipe left and you should see your music control
HOPE THIS WORKS AND IS HELPFUL!😊😊

I have the same problem. It's supposed to connect and control the music on the phone and mine always says connect phone. It worked a few times when I first got it, but won't connect at all now. I get all notifications bit no music controls. I also tried the Spotify app and I won't connect to my phone on that either. Is there a solution? I've tried all of the trouble shooting suggestions that have been posted and none have solved the problem.
