My Versa Lite's heart sensor stopped working. I have tried cleaning the device, my skin, charging in the wall/computer, reseting, and then doing a factory reset. I even chatted with Customer Service while I was updating the firmware after the factory reset. None of that has restored the green flashing light. I really want to figure this out, because that function is the whole reason I chose this device. Any tips to get it, and me, up and running?

The latest update ruined the Versa’s functionality. there is no way to fix this. my device is completely useless now and it started with the heart rate sensor. your battery will likely stop holding a charge soon, and you will slowly lose the rest of the functions. they’ll offer you a 35% discount if you purchased your device more than a year ago. switch brands and avoid fitbit! they refuse to acknowledge the issue they’ve caused hundreds of customers.

Currently dealing with this exact issue. Cannot believe how poorly customer service has treated me and now I have to wait around for an email that might tell me my warranty options. Calling is slightly better than chatting since on chat the person basically just told me I was out of luck and I should end the chat and just wait for an email. RIDICULOUS! I've only stuck with this brand despite my device not working and multiple terrible firmware updates because I had heard Fitbits were better for exercise tracking than apple watch but at least apple has good customer support and doesn't actively try to ruin your device. I thought google taking over would make a change for the better but nope.
