Versa Lite (Sleep Wont' Sync)

For the past two months on and off, I have not been unable to log any of my sleep logs. I am prompted by my Samsung S7 each morning the following information: The server did not allow the sleep to record the data. 

I've deleted the Fitbit App and reinstalled but still get the same prompts. I will need to search Fitbit Community and internet to ensure using your desktop is an option. Tonight I will start my sleep using my Desktop Windows 10 to see if I can get an accurate reading and the app sync as it should.

It would be most helpful if Fitbit Team would send out instructions for information for ongoing issues with their Smart Watches, Fitness Tracker, and Smart Scale.

@Domo1941 it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community! I'm happy to assist you with your Fitbit Versa Lite since it's not syncing your sleep information. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

In order to avoid any misunderstanding or confusion on my end, I would like to know if you are logging your sleep manually or do you track your sleep with your Fitbit Versa Lite?

 

In the meantime, please restart your watch as described in this help article. Once you've done this, check out this help page which explains how Fitbit devices track sleep.

@Domo1941 I’ve been having the same problem with my new Versa Lite — and I am seriously considering returning it since I can’t get my sleep to sync. I let Fitbit determine when my sleep starts and finishes - yet it has only synced once...and now I can’t get it to update again. 

 

From rebooting my iPhone to restarting my Versa - including deleting the app and reinstalling - I just can’t seem to see my sleep on my Versa Lite. 

 

I’m open to other suggestions @JuanJoFitbit . I would love to keep this and not need to make the trek back to return it to where I purchased it!

I did as follows and will let you know if it worked.


* BLAZE
* FLYER
* IONIC & VERSA
* ONE
* SURGE

To turn Fitbit Ionic and Fitbit Versa off and on:

On your watch, open the Settings app >About>Shutdown> confirm the shutdown.

To turn your watch back on, press the back button.
