Versa Lite and Versa 2

After a terrible experience purchasing  a Versa Lite (connection to phone was awful) I returned the watch - I am gutted as the watch is lovely in every way other than syncing to phone and I still really want one!! 
I am thinking of trying the versa 2 but am afraid of having the same issue - does anybody know if the sync issue is any better on the 2 than on the lite?

I've had all three Versas and Versa 2 syncs much better than any other for me.  I use a Windows 10 computer though.
