after 6 months of use the battery suddendly dropped to 1 day and after 3 days it lasts a couple of hours.

I bought it 6 months ago and until less than a week ago the battery life was around 4 days and it suddendly dropped to a couple of hours. The battery is not gradually getting worse, it dropped suddenly and to a level that it's unusable. I cannot be charging a fitbit every 2 h, I want it to log my sleep.
Your article is of no help because I already do lots of the recommended things to save battery use. It would be helpful if my battery life had dropped to 1 day, but it dropped to less than 2 hours.

Thank you, but I could already return the fitbit to the shop where I bought it and they replaced it.
