Mine finally blanked out today after having lines on the screen out of the blue.  it was working fine up until today  I was told to change the clock face and/or restart it.  It did not work.  I just bought this device in August 2020 and it is already gone.  They will send me a replacement device.  Once this happens to conk out, I will go to another smartwatch brand.  this is my second FitBit. Alta was the first one I bought in October 2016.

@SunsetRunner Thank you for joining our Fitbit Community. I'm glad to hear that a solution was provided and you will be back on track soon.

@vusindaba I'm sorry to hear that the warranty is no longer covering your Fitbit device. The warranty period is good for 365 days, starting from the date of the first setup.

I totally understand how frustrating this is for you guys and we really appreciate your feedback and comments since this helps us to keep improving.

According to the store where I bought the device, I was told it has 2 years warranty, my device only worked for exactly 13 months then died( 1 month after 12 months warranty as according to you guys at FITBIT), that’s very convenient . Cannot get it opened to check if it’s the battery that’s needs replacement after you guys told me your won’t do anything to help me , spending $250 ( R3500 ZAR).
