Versa Lite blank screen

4 days ago my Versa Lite screen just went black as I walking to the kitchen! It is black with a white light in the center and an Orange line on the left and the right. I just want to get it repaired. I’ve tried restarting it with no success because nothing can be read. Please help! It’s still tracking my area and sleep etc but I can’t read anything.

I just had the same thing happen to my Versa! Yesterday, the screen was very glitchy while it was tracking my bike ride. Sometime today, the screen went black and stayed that way. I don't know how to do any restarts or anything because I can't see anything on the screen. 😞

I was sent a response by a Fitbit moderator but now I can’t find it. Will someone please help me?

Hi there @Dcelder12, thanks for stopping by. Thanks for the details provided in your posts and for taking the time to troubleshoot your Versa Lite prior to posting here.

The battery on your watch may not be charging properly and therefore does not turn on or even is causing a battery drain. I recommend that you follow these steps:

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit once again. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

If the issue persist, would you mind posting me a photo of how your watch's screen looks?

I’ve sent a messages to everyone along with a photo of my watch screen and no one has reached back out to me! Is there a moderator out there who can fix my Versa Lite problem. It’s still under warranty! I’ve done everything  from changing the watch face through the app etc.

I called the customer service number. The guy had me choose a different
clock face. When that didn't work, he went ahead and sent me an email with
instructions on my replacement options. I'm getting a free replacement in a
Versa 2! I suggest you call and do the same. 🙂
