My Versa 2 Light quit working after 24 months the one before that only lasted a year It was a Versa 2 but not a light I am wondering how normal this is .I am very disappointed with the product .So in 3 years I have had 2 watches and the best they will do is give me a discount to buy a new one .I started showing incorrect time for a week and now will not sync to my application on the phone I actually did a factory reset and now it wont even do an update Very expensive to keep replacing them at this rate

Welcome to the Community Forums @gmblue22.
I'm very sorry for the experience and thank you very much for the detailed information and for the troubleshooting steps you tried. Please note that any feedback posted in the forums is always welcome as it helps to improve our products, services and overall environment.
I was able to see that you reached out to our Support Team before and they exhausted all troubleshooting steps, for this reason, they decided to provide a discount towards a purchase of a new device. For more information about our warranty policy, I recommend visiting the following link: https://www.fitbit.com/global/us/legal/returns-and-warranty.
On a side note, I've moved your post to the Other Versa Smartwatches board to keep our forums organized.
See you around.

The most recent update to fitbit software on Android phones app version 3.48 is messing up basically all Versa fitbits and a few other fitbits excluding the fitbit Blaze I know this as I kept my Blaze for backup. The update wasn't a watch firmware update it just the fitbit app software that wasn't tested very well before its released to the public. I don't know if this affects Apple iphones or iPad. I'd make a post to all of your fitbit friends and any group you might follow letting them know Not to do the update. If your an Android phone user go into your apps than into Fitbit and click on the 3 dots in the upper right corner and un-check Auto Update this will stop the app from updating automatically. I jumped the gun instead of waiting a month to see if there were any issues reported before I update the app. Basically I have all auto updates unchecked so they don't auto update. Just keep your fitbit and hopefully they come up with a fitbit app update past version 3.48. If anyone reading this is on app version 3.47 Don't update to version 3.48 !!
