i got a versa lite for christmas and i use it for running. if i run with the gps connected to my phone i have no issues, but when i run without the gps connected the data is so innacurate. i run 5k parkruns and the fitbit tells me i have run anywhere between 4-4.7k and when i run it tells me that my pace is much slower than i know it is. for example i was nearly sprinting yesterday and it told me i was running at 5 mins per KM?
i know its to do with stride length, and i have tried updating it, but it is still unaccurate. any tips? do i just need to get a watch with a built in gps?
