My fitbit is acting like it is dead. It had a fresh charge yesterday and was working when I went to bed.
This morning in the dark the whole screen had a vague glow, but was unresponsive.
I keep finding threads about Versa, but not versa lite.
I have put it on the charger for more than 30 minutes and it is completely unresponsive.
I have tried to reset it by holding the button (it has just 1) for 10 + seconds. It is completely unresponsive.
It seems like there is an additional step to do a "factory reset" but I don't know what it is.
Can someone point me to the steps and / or any other advice?
Thank you.

Hi @dainap, welcome to our Fitbit Community! I'd like to follow up and help you with your Versa Lite since the screen won't turn on or take a charge. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.
I'd like you to try the factory reset process. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:
Keep me posted on the outcome.

My Versa (not lite) has similar problems this morning. In the middle of the night, I was checking the time and it had a strange glow, but nothing else. No other response to pressing a button. I went back to sleep and it was the same this morning, so I put it on the charger. It was 80% charged and I let it finish, but now I just have a black screen when it is on my wrist. After reading the reply, I held the 3 buttons until I got the fitbit logo and now it seems to be working fine.

If it is unresponsive, it has nothing. There is no logo, only a dead watch. I have the same problem and it seems there isn't a way to fix it. I have done all the trouble shooting i know how, contacted support, and done all the same things the orginal post suggested. Nothing.
