I have a versa lite. Ever since I have had it it has had problems recording the first few hours of sleep, I have confirmed this by also wearing an additional sleep tracker by another company. Also, it will not allow me to start my sleep time automatically. This is frustrating. Sleep tracking was my main purpose of purchasing this device. Otherwise, I really love it. Please help.

Hi @Wall6466, welcome to the Community Forums.
Thanks for bringing this to our attention, I understand how frustrating this matter can be for you and even more if your main purpose of your Versa Lite is sleep tracking. First, let me share with you that all wrist-based Fitbit devices automatically detect your sleep when you wear your device to bed. We recommend wearing your device in a snug wristband while sleeping; don’t wear your device in a clip or pendant accessory. When your body is completely at rest and you haven’t moved for about an hour, your Fitbit device records that you’re asleep.
Taking the above into consideration, please restart your Versa Lite and then try wearing it on your non-dominant hand when you're going to sleep and let me know if the issue persists.
I'll be here if further assistance is needed.
