Versa Lite update issue

I bought my versa lite 3 mths ago and it worked without any problems.  Now i received an update on my phone and it blocked the connection with my watch.  My watch continue to work fine but the application on my phone is not.  I activated the update but it goes into a loop because it cannot find my watch.  I am close to a wifi connection and it should work.  

So the update for the telephone is not completed and the program on the telephone cannot be used.

what do you suggest

not a good response

just to recap

bought the watch in June

used for 2 months until an update came in and mixed up the whole system

now the watch and the Iphone or the IPAD does not recognize the watch

after hours and hours of looking at solutions on the community I am very lost

question: how do we connect the watch to my Ipad or Iphone
