Versa Lite won't charge

My versa lite 2 battery ran down completely, and after charging for over an hour, nothing. Cleaned terminals as recommended but no life in it yet. Any suggestions?

 

Update: Also I never received an email indicating a low battery as had happened in the past.

The best thing is to plug the charger [with the watch in it] into a PC USB port and listen that PC makes an announcement of a connected device. 

That way you know its actually charging.

 

If its flat a long time it may take a while to wake up so it will take more than the 2 hours to charge. Try leaving it for 24 hours if it doesn't wake or you can't wake it.

 

If you get a second announcement saying the device is disconnected there is a problem and probably best to contact Fitbit Support directly. They may be able to help you.
