Versa Lite won't set up

Hi 

I followed steps to setup watch and it connected and was showing on my device - then it was not connected??   And phone displays logo then lt looks like it’s updating blue bar gets slowly higher than stops half way and I can’t go any further?? It’d not syncing or charging or anything - I have tried reinstalling app, turning watch off and on - turning Bluetooth off and on? Can you help please
