We just purchased two Versa Lites. When my wife walks, it severely under counts her steps. I don't think it is a product problem because we switched watches for a walk and her watch counted correctly for me but mine severely under counted her steps again. She swings her arms as much as I do and I can't see that she does anything different. Is there anything we can do to resolve this? She had an Alta HR for years and that counted steps just fine for her.

Hi @snorris85, welcome to the Community Forums!
Thanks for bringing this to our attention and for the details that were shared in your post. This could be related to the stride length settings on your wife's account. That said, I recommend you and her to check the information that;s specified on our help article: Why does my step count differ depending on where I wear my Fitbit device? and let me know if the issue persists.
I'll be here if further assistance is needed.

Thanks for your answer but we are still at a loss. Her steps count is still way off. So I am pretty sure it isn't the stride length. I can walk with her and log 8,000 steps and she logs 5,000 or less. We have walked a track and counted steps and hers are way short. She swings her arms as much as I do, she wears the device on the non-dominant hand and her Fitbit is as tight as mine is. Just don't know. Any other ideas would be appreciated.
