Versa Lite won't turn on

My versa lite won’t turn on even if I keep it to charge. I had not been using it for a month and it had run out of charge but now even if I plug it in for an hour it won’t turn on. The Fitbit logo appears and then goes away. Pls help, thanks

Hi there @PranavGayatri, welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for the details provided in your post about your Versa Lite that is not charging and for taking the time to try fixing the issue prior to posting here.

As per the description of your post it seems that the battery on your watch may not be charging properly and therefore does not turn on. I recommend that you follow these steps (or please confirm that you've followed them as described below):

  • Clean the charging contacts on the back of your device and the pins on your charging cable using the instructions in How do I clean my Fitbit device?
  • If the error "insufficient power source" appears on your device's screen, remove other devices plugged in to your power source, or plug your device in to another source.
  • Try a different USB port or a UL-certified wall charger.
  • Check the alignment and try reconnecting your device to the charging cable. For more information, see How do I charge my Fitbit device?
  • Restart your Fitbit. For more information, see How do I restart my Fitbit device?

Let me know on the outcome, I'll be around.

I did what you suggested but the problem is still there. It keeps showing the Fitbit logo and then a blank screen. I’ve checked the charger and it’s working, I tried booting it up but it’s not turning on.

Hi, I have been facing the same problem and have followed the steps as suggested by you. The device is the Fitbit Versa Lite too. Please advise.

There seems to be an issue here with Versa software judging by the threads being created (Not charging, won't turn on etc.) and no amount of "have you rebooted  it?" "have you cleaned the connections?" "have you checked the charging cradle" etc. is going to cure it.

Can we get some technical explanation out amongst the community please?

thanks, looking forward to it.

Hi @MarreFitbit so I connected the cradle and watch on my laptop and it started. it wasn't connecting to the app, so I did a factory reset on the watch but now it is not being detected by any Fitbit app, I tried it on Windows OS app, iOS, and Android - all three.

Also, the watch was not in use for three months before this. Please let me know what should I do?

I bought my Versa Lite in July. It won't turn on. I have tried several times to charge it. After I do I see the Fitbit logo but it won't do anything else. I would like a replacement, please.

I cannot get my versa lite to switch on too.  It is fully charged and occasionally when I plug it into the charger the logo appears, sometime on and off.  Sometimes it shows the clock face and sometimes it is a blank screen.  I cannot sync it to the app.as the app cannot find it as it is switched off.
