So, I've tried syncing my versa lite after about a year of not using it and it is a nightmare. It says it needs to update, then it proceeds to take forever and a day. Then, just when it's almost done, it just stops, disconnects, whatever. Can someone please tell me whats going on and how to fix it?

Hi there, @addii_007. Welcome to the Community Forums. Thanks for trying to troubleshoot the issue with your Versa Lite before reaching out.
In addition to the steps you've tried, please see Why can't I update my Fitbit device?
Hope that helps.

I encountered this yesterday and finally today I was able to resolve. I hard reset the device which seemed to wipe it entirely, that scared me. I have an iphone 11 (IOS 16) and when i would remove the fitbit and forget the bluetooth connection it would prompt for the update and after 1-4 hours it would lose connection. I contacted support and even though they were kind enough to work with me on the old device it did not resolve the issue. I'm not exactly sure I could not have done it on my iPhone 11 but I had this issue years ago when my Blaze was discontinued and i had to use an old device/software to resolve. I chose my old iphone 6 (IOS 12.5.6) and downloaded the old app, the compatible version offered. Next i tried updating it during initial pair.. nogo, same disconnecting issue. I then exited out of the initial update and restarted the software. I could see the fitbit there and it also offered to update. From here I updated, as it started a little blue 'wall' started making its way across the screen. I set the screen to never lock so i could see what was going on the whole time. Though the app did not indicate progress or time the blue continued to make its way across the screen. A little over 4 hours, my fitbit is finally working! I am writing this reply hoping it helps! I was about to give up and toss it this morning but glad I kept trying different things.

If the Versa is having trouble updating through Bluetooth try the following: Try turning Bluetooth on and off on your phone. Restart your watch by holding the back (left) and bottom buttons until you see the Fitbit logo. Try again to update your watch.
