Versa Lite won't update

hi, I made the mistake of factory resetting my versa lite and now I cant get it to update what so ever.

if id read the forum before I did it I would have waited, im just hoping its not now bricked as I don't have the receipt and the shop I got it from is currently closed due to lock down anyway.

any help would be appreciated as ive only had it since December and losing out on over £100 is a big loss to me.

I'd like to follow up and help you with your Fitbit Versa Lite since it can't be updated. By the way, thank you for trying to get this issue resolved before contacting our forums.

 

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. Hold the back button for about 8 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears:
  • Release the button briefly (for less than 2 seconds). 
  • Hold the button again until they feel a second, longer vibration, which indicates they initiated the factory reset. 

After this, run the update again as described in this help article and see if the issue gets fixed.
