Versa - No Device Found issue

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Why does the Fitbit app have such a hard time finding the Versa device?  Because it can't find the device most of the time the syncs don't happen.

If I shutdown my Versa and restart my phone then it will sync one or two times.  After that I will get the "No Device Found" message.

Why does it since right after a restart but then only sporadically after that?  I have never had any issues with any other Bluetooth device communicating with my phone.  It seems to be worse after I loaded the December upgrade about a week ago but I can't positively confirm that because the syncing was sporadic before the upgrade too.

Hi, Since this is a by Fitbit supported device, try the following (I'm using my Versa with an unsupported device and it works flawlesly):

1. Go to your Fitbit app and unpair/delete your Versa from the Fitbit app.

2. Remove the Fitbit app from your mobile device and restart it.

3. Reinstall the Fitbit app on your mobile device

4. Put your Versa in the charger and connect it to your computer

5. Go back to your mobile device, start the Fitbit app, enable BT and login to your account.

6. Choose setting up a new device and select your Versa.

7. Fitbit will start looking for your new device

8. Once found, it will show a four digit number on your Versa and enter that into your Fitbit account and press OK.

9. Fitbit will say: connecting to your device, this make take a while and after some time time you will see the "connected" message and you're are ready to go an run and and sync.

Good luck and hop this will work for you (did it for me). Regards kuzibri

Thanks kuzibri.

After you performed the steps below, did your sync problem go away permanently or do you have go through these steps from time to time?

Nope, Fitbit always finds my device, even on a officially unsupporded device by Fitbit, e.g. the Oppo Reno 2. Regards kuzibri
