Versa Notifications vs iPhone IOS 13 Update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

After doing the IOS 13 update on my iPhone X today, I am no longer receiving text/call notifications on my Versa. I have disconnected the bluetooth, the Versa, done a factory reset, restarted my phone and nothing is working. Just says "All caught up here!" Customer service said many people are having a similar problem and technical support is working to fix the bug. Is this accurate information and when can we except an update/solution to this problem? Thank You!

You know this has nothing to do with versa right? IO3 isn’t compatible and versa is trying to find a fix.

I was having the same issue as was my friend, we have found if in messages if you sign out then sign in to your Apple ID this seems to work, as we are now getting messages and calls through our Fitbit Versa

It's time to tell everyone that FitBit is not the device to purchase because FitBit will not resolve issues with message and call notifications.  I have told everyone I know that they should NOT buy a FitBit and that they should find something else instead.  Sad.

It’s frustrating, yes, but part of me sees an Apple conspiracy also. A ploy to get people frustrated enough to switch to Apple watches. Apple has been sneaky in the past. Hopefully Fitbit will find a solution!

I set my "Show Previews" to "When Unlocked" in the message notification settings and things are all good for me now.

i will admit though that the conspiracy theorist in me, seeing all the recent ads for Apple Watches, has been thinking long and hard about how badly they might be wanting to 'influence' people to switch over. I honestly just don't need a watch with that much functionality or that big a price tag!   lol

Glad it’s now working. I agree the Apple Watch is overpriced for something essentially tells the time, also what’s the point if you have an iPhone!

Not only messages - my phone won’t update any information and when I try to do the Versa update - it can’t find my device...nor recognize that my Bluetooth is turned on 😞

Same here. I get intermittent Phonecall notifications but no text messages. This is really important to be. When will it be fixed ?

I get neither, and, absent some information from Fitbit about what they’re doing and when they expect to fix the problem, I have given up. I am wearing a different watch now and telling everyone I know to NOT buy a Fitbit because their claims about their product are false and misleading. No more Fitbits for me, sad to say.

I fixed mine!! Simple fix- go to your settings on your iPhone. Hit Bluetooth. Hit your versa under “my devices” and turn on “share system notifications”. 🙂

Doesn't work for me. I've tried everything -- every update, every "fix" out there. Nothing.

Anyone know if the Versa 2 is compatible with IOS 13 notifications?

Still not working here. Tried all the suggestions. So frustrated. Only reason I got this Fitbit was for the notifications.

It’s December. They haven’t fixed a thing. I’m furious. My versa was a Christmas gift. It was a waste of money.
