I am trying to change the PIN on my Versa. I select the Device lock option in the Fitbit app. After fingerprint verification on my phone I am prompted for a new PIN, it then asks me to enter the new PIN again for verification. It then advises It is connecting to Versa. After a while you get a white popup advising there was an Error connecting to Versa. My Versa has the latest firmware and successfully syncs with my phone, and this error happens every time I try to change the PIN.

Repeat these steps after logging out of the fitbit app, reboot your phone, and reboot your Versa (hold the left button and bottom right button). Then log back in to see if you can create new pin.

Thanks, i logged ouf of the app, rebooted the phone and rebooted the Versa and was still not able to change the PIN. This time it asked me to confirm the existing PIN. But i still I got the same "Error connecting to Versa" as before when it tried to validate the existing PIN.

Do you have the fitbit wallet? If so, try removing your card from your account via the fitbit website.

Thanks, I am using the Fitbit wallet. But I don't want to set up my credit card again. The app has the option to change the PIN and it should work without having to trash everything in the wallet. Hopefully this bug will be fixed soon.
