I've recently taken up Boxing for fitness & part of my class includes swapping between gloves & pads. I've had x2 tough workouts only to realise my Versa has paused or stopped tracking my class. I'm guessing that I've pressed the pause button in error during transition (as I was aware of this from my 1st class I was extra careful) It's so disappointing when this happens but I'm struggling to find any help or if FitBit have sorted this? Please can anyone help? I've been looking at TPU cases but will they suffer the same fault? Thanks

Hi @GallyS,
Yes, that an issue. If you search MMA and kickboxing, the same thing. I was having the same problem with weights on exercises like cleans that have a lot of wrist flex.
A TPU case did fix it for me. But I don't know how well it would work in boxing, where there's impact to the area. The case makes the button almost recessed, so it would take a pretty precise hit for the button. Again, I don't know how well it works with gloves. The cases are pretty cheap so might be worth a try. It's the only thing that helped that I know of.

I had the same issue as I do boxing/kickboxing for fitness and noticed the same was happening when swapping gloves/pads. Somebody on here suggested turning off the automatic screen wake and I have now changed my setting to manual (whereby you need to really tap the screen or button) to wake it so the pause button cannot be accidentally knocked during a workout. This seemed to work for me this morning but am keeping an eye on it !! Also was told that by doing this it will also extend battery life as screen is not lighting up with random movement !!!!!
