Hi

About 7 months ago I bought a Versa for my daughter and she loved it. It tells her how many steps she's done and more about her strokes when swimming.

About a month after buying it the strap failed. I took it back to the shop and it was replaced (after about 3 months of fluffing around but I can't fault Fitbit for that).

Two days ago, the watch fell out of her locker at school - about 4 feet. This cracked the screen and now it won't start.

Here's the kicker - Fitbit, a massive sports tech company - says this isn't covered under their warranty.

What

The

Hell?

So this essentially means Fitbit make crappy products that can't stand up to every day usage and wear and tear and that they won't stand behind it. Their advice? Buy another!

Nope.

Going to buy her a Garmin instead. I feel like I dodged a bullet as I was on the verge of going out and getting her sister an Ace2 so at least I saved some money there.

Goodbye Fitbit. It was always awful.

Why would it? She was careless its not their fault.
