Today I felt a burning on my hand and noticed the red light was stuck on. I immediately took it off and felt that the tracker was extremely hot, the red light would not stop shining and I tried to turn it off and it wouldn't. It also drained my battery within an hour and now the tracker doesn't work. I can't charge it and tried calling fitbit customer support and they said that my case was escalated and that was 3 hours ago.

The same thing happened to me yesterday. I called customer support. Fitbit is aware of the ongoing issue. I have been a Fitbit user since 2015, but I am starting to question the quality of their products. I have had to send back all three trackers that I had; Flex, Alta, and now the Versa. Also I have experienced " a glitch" in the app. I was told by customer support that Fitbit is aware of this issue as well, and will hopefully be sending an update soon to fix the issue.

Each time I get a new tracker they usually have something happen to them and then I'm forced to upgrade to the newest one. This is my second versa, the first one wouldn't hold a charge. I tried calling customer service again today as my fitbit is under warranty and I just want a new one. I was told they wouldn't call me back for another two days. This has never happened before, extremely frustrated and dissatisfied with how they are handling this as I have been with fitbit for over 8 years now. Perhaps its time to get an Apple watch.

I have the same problem. The red light stays on, it actually burned my wrist! The green light no longer comes on so the HR monitor no longer works. This is the second Versa i have owned and had issues with. The first time i contacted Fitbit they were very helpful and even sent me a replacement and it worked for several months without issue up until know. I did contact Fitbit but they told me i was out of luck because it has been a year (combined time with original watch and replacement). I was only offered a discount on a new purchase.
I think its crazy that this watch has the capability of burning your wrist and they don't care and are unwilling to rectify the problem,

Hi,
Yesterday i had a problem with my Fit BIt versa watch. Whilst at work i had like a burn sensation on my wrist., the red light was stuck so i had to remove my watch I tried to switch it off but i did not succeed. For no reason it went off. When i put the fit bit on the charger it started working again but only today i noticed that the Heart Monitor is not working any syncing. Can you please let me know what steps i can do.
Thanks
