This is the second time in a week that my Versa has started to track active minutes while I'm walking then resets itself back to zero. It has only happened when I walk, and it will track for a little bit, then reset to zero, and repeats this behavior. Has anyone else had this problem? It is set to auto recognize a 15 minute walk and both times I walked much longer than this. Its very annoying. Also, when it does this, my heart rate function seems to not work..it will either be very low or just not change. Normally, my fitbit works great, but when this happens both the active minutes and heart rate seem to mess up together. Any ideas? I've already tried logging in and out of the app but I'm not sure what else to do.

Hi, restart your Versa 4-6 times in a row by pressing and holding the left and right lower buttons together untill you see after each restart the Fitbit logo and release the buttons. This resets the internal system of your Versa. See if that solves your problem.

If you want a true hardware, not just a soft restart, go into settings, help, and shutdown the Versa. This really is the best way to insure that both hardware and software has been restarted.
Multiple restarts are valuable when the tracker site not have a shutdown command.
