I charged my Versa overnight and when I took it off the charger the screen is black and non-responsive.
The app on my phone syncs to the Versa and shows it as charged. I have tried holding down the left & bottom buttons multiple times and the Versa vibrates and the screen lightens but it is still blank.
I have searched online and in the forums, but cannot find a solution.
same. just got off the phone w/customer support - who offered a 25% discount on a new device.
this is my 3rd fitbit - each lasting between 2-3 years -- that's it. and they always go directly to a blank/black screen with no warning. customer service always says there's nothing else to do... "but here's a 25% discount on a new $200 watch.
i don't change my phone as often as Ive had to change my watches - and have had a timex for 20+ years that only costs me $5 battery about every 5 years....maybe i should just stick with that one.....so frustrating. sorry - hope you can resolve your issues. My Versa is 3 years old almost to the date.
Wow mine just turned 3 yrs and the exact same thing I charged it, wore it and a couple hours later black/blue screen. I was so confused how this happened came here to see how I could reset it and it seems a lot of ppl just had this happen to them! And to think I kept telling my husband my watch was better than his iwatch! So disappointing bc it sounds like they are set up to break around this time.

Best AnswerMine went to an all black screen yesterday, that I just got for Christmas. I push the button on the side, it vibrates, and then pulls up my auto-pay to hold near a reader. That is all it will do. Guess I will have to look into a new one, even though I had my previous one 4+ years.

Best AnswerMy Fitbit quit working and will not charge. I bought it April 4 2020 so is still covered by 1 yr. warranty. I followed help line instructions without success. I purchased my Versa 2 on Amazon. What do I need to do next under warranty?.
Best AnswerMy was working at 5:36am. Then about 2 hours later I noticed the screen was blank/black. I put it in the charger, nothing. I tried a different charger, nothing. I was frustrated reading everyone's posts so I grabbed it by the wrist bands and hit the Fitbit against my other hand and it started working. Don't know how long it will last but it's working for now.
