Versa Screen not Working

I bought my versa last year in April and 2 days ago, my screen just started clicking things on it's own and then my screen just went black and now it's dead, but my watch still works. It's still syncs, it still vibrates every time I get a notification. Called Fitbit and was asked to reset it and was then told there was nothing I could do but just buy a new watch. The watch screen only lasted pretty much a year. Has anybody else had this problem? If I have to keep spending 200 bucks every year because my watch stops working, this will be my last Fitbit purchase.
