Hi ,
My FITBIT versa is not synchronizing since September month on WiFi.
I have sent several emails but support team is not accepting the issue.
Currently I am using WiFi only since 4 days and my Fitbit not synchronizing at all.
One strange thing is that if I used mobile Internet it works but this product I purchased 10 months ago and would not accept such issue in costly product.
Can someone faced similar kind of issue?
Does they replace my product?
Regards,
Vidyassgar

Hi @Vidyassgar, welcome to the community.
The Versa 2 doesn't use WiFi to sync. WiFi is only used for firmware updates, faster app updates and for the transfer of music to you device. Syncing is performed exclusively using Bluetooth.
If what you mean is that your Versa syncs (via Bluetooth) when your phone is using mobile data opposed to it (you phone) being connected to your WiFi network. Then I would first suggest restarting your router/modem as the issue sounds like it's originating from there. Are you able to surf the Internet and visit other site etc whilst connected to this network using your phone?

I think you have misunderstood what I am saying. What I meant is that the Versa can't sync directly to a WiFi network and that it will always need a Bluetooth connection to the phone. Whether the phone is using mobile data or WiFi should not effect the device syncing. I would still say its an issue with your hotels WiFi, perhaps they are blocking or restricting certain sites/IP's? Really you need to test this on your home WiFi that you have more control over.
