Versa Syncing Screen & Battery Issues

I have a Versa and a Galaxy S9. In the last two weeks my Versa will not pair or even be recognized by my phone so I can pair and sync it. I've had intermittent screen troubles for a few months where the screen does not respond when I swipe. For the last 10 days the battery has drained quickly and I have to charge it almost daily. 

What's happening? I've done the uninstall and it hasn't worked. Help please.

Hi @DeeJay08, due to the recent events, I apologize for the delayed response. However, it's great to see you in our Fitbit Community.

 

I'd like to follow up and help you with the syncing, screen and battery issues that your Versa is experiencing. By the way, thank you for troubleshooting this issue before contacting our forums.

 

Please try a factory reset. To do so on your device, follow the steps below:

 

  1. On the device, hold all three buttons for about 10 to 12 seconds. 
  2. When the Fitbit logo disappears, quickly release the bottom right button, continuing to hold down the left and top right buttons (releasing the bottom right button as soon as the logo disappears is time sensitive). 
  3. When the device vibrates, release all buttons. 
  4. Wait for approximately 1-2 minutes while the device clears all data. Eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays Fitbit.com/setup.
  5. Then, try the steps listed in this help article in order to fix the syncing issue
  6. Finally, try the tips described in this article which are helpful in order to improve the battery life of your watch.

My 11 month old Versa has similar troubles.  Reboots itself, shows off a very bright logo, won’t keep time, inconsistent step tracking, only accepts a swipe at less than 10% battery, battery life now 2 days or less.

 

I have powered it down, factory reset, reinstalled app 3 times each.

 

I’m now gaining weight.  Please help soon.

My year old (or so) Versa has the same problem. Battery is draining very quickly. The factory reset did NOT resolve the issue.
