Versa Troubleshooting Help

I received my Versa yesterday. This my first Fitbit product. It completed an update yesterday as soon as I unboxed it. I have a Galaxy S7 phone. Current issues I'm having:

  1. Not showing any active minutes in the app, even after completing about 30 minutes of activity this morning.
  2. Fitbit apps constantly updating or installing with no result - I haven't been able to update Coach (which I paid a yearlong premium subscription for this morning, so definitely frustrating) or install Leaderboard to my Versa. Even after uninstalling and reinstalling the Fitbit app, it tells me they are still downloading, yet all that is happening is a little red bar is moving back and forth repeatedly - for a couple hours now. The same happened when I tried to download one of the virtual pet clock faces.

I have all day sync on, but in the app it says my last sync was yesterday at 7:17 pm. 

 

Please help! Not thrilled with my first 24 hours with Versa!

I am not sure if this information will help you however I have a Pixel 2 XL and originally had on all day sync and it wasn't syncing. Mine began to work just fine after I turned off the all day sync. It only syncs when you open the app I do believe which is fine with me.

 

Also, with the labs clock face, make sure youre phone and watch are on wifi. I had issues downloading/installing those when I wasn't on wifi.

I completely agree with the Versa issues other users are reporting. Active minutes =zero after 2+ hours working out. Sleep never matches up. And now my Fitbit app steps do not match my Versa. I have tried to “Shut down” several times and doing a “Factory Reset”. Nothing helps.

This is the latest smart watch and has the worst performance. Very frustrating and very disappointed.

Unfortunately, these seem to be the general issues most people are having. I just think that the Versa is defective in design and execution.

Why doesn’t Fitbit recall the Versa and fix the issues then? We all just paid $200 or more for the latest device that is clearly defective. Fitbit should take care of their loyal customers.

I am having all the same problems and I am about to lose it.  I didn't spend $200.00 for something that only worked for a couple months properly.

I am facing issue while set up of Fitbit Versa .. Its start downloading and continue to download till 10% where it shows step 2 of 3 over phone but after sometime it shows X sign over the Versa Fitbit and downloading failed. I am fed up in setting up this Versa device. Can someone please guide me how to get rid of this issue. Appreciate your quick response !
