Versa - Vertical lines obscuring display

Hi fitbit,

I've had this unit for almost a year, after my first one suffered from a corrupted screen and needed to be replaced. It seems this one is corrupting in a different fashion.

A few days ago, I noticed the left and right edges seemed a little blue, but thought was the blue on my sweater, or I was imagining it. The blue was more pronounced today, and just now when I've gone to bed, the whole display has vertical lines on it. The blue edges are bigger and more intense and there is a red band in a dark grey part on the left and a white section occupies the rest of the screen. I've tried a reset which gave me some teal coloured vertical lines but didn't fix it.

I tried resetting again a few times and changed the clock face as recommended on other threads, but I only obtained different coloured vertical  bands. The blue bands persist no matter what I do

Could you please let me know what I need to do to fix this?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I had the same thing. Contact Fitbit support and they may replace it if it’s still under warranty. All the best T

Update: when I woke up the main body of the screen was black, and the blue bands persisted. I put it on the charger hoping that would help. It didn't. The screen is now completely black and unresponsive. Resetting does nothing and the device can no longer be found by the app to sync.

It's completely dead.
