I loved everything about my Versa until I was riding my bike last week and suddenly the watch face popped out. I tried to press it back in, to no avail. I am currently holding it on with a rubber band stretched across.
I did contact customer service and they said after 12 months the warranty is expired and I would need to purchase a new one. They offered me a 25% off coupon, which while better than nothing, doesn't help much. However, I just went to order a new Versa and noticed that with my discount I can get the watch for $149.96 or using the sitewide coupon I can get it for $169.95 and free 2-day shipping. So basically they are giving me $20 off for a product that failed just after a year of standard use (and taking shipping into consideration closer to $10 off).
This wouldn't be nearly annoying if two years ago another of their trackers had a band that failed on me after 13 months. Again they offered a 25% discount which went to buying me a new one that also failed after 13 months. At this point, I purchased the Versa (glutton for punishment?) which just had its face detach. I have been a loyal customer since 2013, however, with their ongoing fail rate it is difficult to justify staying with their brand. We also have an Aria & a Charge in the household, but I am now looking to see what my best option will be. I had hoped that Fitbit would look at the lifetime value of a customer and the failure rate of their higher end products, but that does not seem to be the case.
In conclusion, if you can offer a better deal to purchase some other item I will consider it, otherwise, I will continue to look at the other trackers out there and their reliability.
Thanks,
Greg

Hello, thank you for your reply. However, it really seems that you did not read my message. I mentioned that I spoke to a CSR and they had already offered me a 25% off coupon and due to other sales it really was more like a 15% off coupon. Regardless this does not address the issue of having several of your products fail just after the 1 year warranty.
