Versa Won't Sync

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Since the update my Versa now doesn't sync at all. My watch is so far behind it is useless. Get zero notifications. The last 2 nights my Versa is completely draining, and the last sync was yesterday morning. I have tried all of their steps to fix, and nothing. I was able to sync when it was connected to the charger, and that to my computer, but now nothing is working. If anyone has any success with anything I would so appreciate it.  I have a case started, weeks ago now, but no resolution. I chose to stay with Fitbit, instead of moving to Apple, because it was always reliable, and had great customer service. I am sad that I didn't take advantage of the great Black Friday deals on the Apple Watch now. I have finally requested a refund, because Fitbit is no longer fulfilling their commitment to service or reliability. I am in training for a race, and because it doesn't track my time correctly, this is now garbage. And the fact that it won't even sync, I am now going to have track my steps manually in my Run the Edge journey of the Amerithon and Run the Year. So frustrated, but even more disappointed. Google what are you thinking?

@Ladydi263 A warm welcome to our Community! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Let me help you with your Versa that isn't syncing and its battery draining quickly. You can try the following:

  • Go to your phone's bluetooth settings and remove all devices listed there.
  • Restart your phone and restart your device
  • Check that no battery saving app/feature on your phone is affecting your Fitbit app.
  • You can find troubleshooting instructions here.

Regarding the battery try cleaning the contacts using cotton swab with rubbing alcohol, then charge it by plugging it for a couple of hours directly to your computer's USB port (try different ports) or use an UL-certified USB adapter. After this, restart your device and see how it behaves. You can follow these instructions to help improve the battery life.

Let me know how it goes.

At the request of Fitbit, I factory reset my Versa. I have removed the device from my account. Removed the app from my phone, and added it back. I also removed the device from bluetooth. Now I can't get my phone to connect with the Versa at all. I have turned off all other bluetooth devices. Battery is full, and I see the Fitbit logo and the set up request on the Versa. I have agreed to allow Fitbit to access bluetooth and notifications. Now what? I am using an iPhone with 13.3.
