Just got my Versa setup last week and each morning it shows I already have over 2,000 steps. Does anyone know how to stop that? It should be at 0

I tried to put in the driving activity and my steps didn’t disappear. My Versa was on the charger all night and I woke up with over 3K steps. Can this be resolved? Then sleep sensitivity is already set to normal.

Hey @MR619, welcome aboard! Congrats on getting your new Versa. Let me ask you this, regarding the extra steps tracked while you were sleeping, at night, do you take off your Versa and put it close to a fan? I'm asking because if so, those vibrations are recognized by your Versa as steps, so please put it in another surface. If this isn't the case, and your Versa still tracking steps on it's own, keep me posted. 😉
I'll be around!

No, I don’t put it close to a fan. I have a ceiling fan. It was on the charger all night and I woke up with 6k steps.

Hey @Jaren1219, let me give you a warm welcome to the Community! If your Versa seems to be tracking steps on it's own and you don't have it close to a fan or anything that vibrates on the same surface, then please let me know if you have any other Fitbit tracker paired to your account, and if that is the case, then unpair that Fitbit and leave just your Versa paired. If the issue persists, let me know! 😉
Have a nice day!

I didn’t have another Fitbit device. I’ve know removed the Versa all together because yesterday it said I did 47k steps. I removed the Versa and paired my old HR Charge instead. I’m positive the Versa is the problem.

Was this resolved? I'm having the same issues with 2000 plus steps being added before I put it on in the morning.

I just bought mine 4 days ago and the same thing is happening to me! 😞 Frustrating, especially when the Versa cost so much! I had to replace my Blaze because it wouldn’t hold a charge... I’ve been a Fitbit user for many many years... now I am second guessing myself about not spending more for an Apple Watch...

Hey guys, @Anela0613 and @bobcat10101, welcome to the Community! I'd like to give you a hand on this, but first, let me ask you, did you take off your Versa and put it close to a fan or anything that may have been buzzing or vibrating? If so, please place your Versa on a different surface without any vibrations and see if the issue persists.
I'll be around!

Returned the versa already. Too many other good options out there. I'll check out the next iteration. Hopefully it will be bug free.
