Versa always shows notification content

Is there a setting to make the backlight not turn on when a notification is received? Even when I'm not moving, notifications pop, light up the screen and show all content of the notification, which may be private. Anyone sitting within 5 feet of me can likely read a portion of the message and the name of the sender. This is a huge privacy concern.

Hi @staciegravy , that's the result and purpose of enabling notifications. If you do not want this to happen, certainly with privacy sensitive ones, the only thing you can do AFAIK is to disable them. What you also couls try, is to set the setting of your display to manual, meaning that you always have to push the button to activate the screen, maybe this prevents your notificatitions to pop up when you do not want it.
