I have an existing ionic. When I tried to install my new versa, Fitbit app prompted me to switch ionic with versa . This resulted in my existing ionic to be removed from the list of synced devices. Appreciate tips to resolve this issue.

Unfortunately there is not a way round this problem. Currently fitbit only allow one smartwatch to be connected to your account. This means you can't have both an ionic and a versa connected.
There is a feature suggestion to remove this limitation. If you'd like to vote for it you can find it here:
