Versa back button unresponsive

My Versa is long out of warrenty and the back button has finally given up.

I am now stuck in some apps permenantly until the battery runs out.. far from ideal!

Is there a way to remap the 'back' function to one of the other two buttons i never ever need to use (i mean they are shortcuts for things i can do on screen normally)

Is there a way in the fitbit app? so far i can only see a way to change the actions on the right (not great for supporting left handed people)

I know button actions can be defined in the SDK. Has anyone made and app that lets you remap buttons?

Yes you can access the buttons in an App, eg SimpleTimer, makes use of all 3 buttons for the App's needs, overriding the default, but how is this single App rempaping going to help you with all the other Apps and Clocks?

For example. Once in Settings you will have to wait for it to time out to get back to the clock face.

As far as I know there is no system wide remapping of the back button, though in some cases a swipe right may also work.

Are you able to check if the back button is clicking or is clogged, so not operating correctly. A careful inspection and clean may help resolve the issue.
