Versa back button won't work, no heart tracking and battery short life

Hi there, I went swimming recently with my Fitbit versa on.  I had a neoprene glove on at the time and didn't spend too long in the water maybe 10 to 15 minutes. My fitbit stopped working altogether however I managed to eventually charge it after about 3 or four days and it came back to life.  However since then the battery wears down very quickly, most days the steps tracker won't work, there is no green light going on at the back, no heart tracker and the back button has stopped working.  Is my Fitbit dead???
