I have the same problem, continually. I went to clean the back of my FB and the band popped off. Trying to get it back on requires either a contortionist or an octopus. After having finally reattached it, multiple times., it keeps popping off. I watched the video on how to do this but it was of no help. Every time I tried to "wiggle" it back in place it popped right out again. I too heard it "click" but that didn't make a difference at all.
The more I deal with this product, the less happy I am with my purchase.

Yes, I watched the video but I bet her band fell off again when the video stopped, just like everyone elses.

I realize this is an older post, but feel compelled to comment as I have now lost my Fitbit Versa 2 as a result of the band coming apart so easily. The plastic on my first, original band actually tore at the point where the pin is! The second band had held up better but it would occasionally come unclasped on one side and would fall off without my immediate knowledge. This time I was out on a walk in the snow and was unable to locate it again. So disappointed!!

I wish I saw this thread before getting the Versa 3. 4 years since the original post and Fitbit have made no effort to fix this design flaw! The band clicks in places but still easily pops off! I used to have a Charge 2, which has a very sturdy band, that was going nowhere and lasted me for years so I though I was safe with the brand, but they have cheaped out on the versa!

I’ve had my versa 2 for just short of a year. I love the watch and love the features but I also have problems with the bands. The first issue was about three months after I got the watch, the pin tore through the band. I changed the band and never had another issue until yesterday. Somehow the pins wore holes through the watch body. Now the band has no way of staying attached to the watch. These things are awful expensive to have such an issue.
