Versa bands keep breaking

I really loved my Fitbit products even with the band breaking on my first watch.  I just replaced the band and kept it moving. Well the band for the Alta broke an unfortunate rule fell off with out me knowing it. So I purchased a versa earlier this year. All was well until the band on the versa broke. Since it was under warranty I was able to have it replaced but the replacement did not work! So now the replacement band needed to be replaced. which after taking pictures, again, and it by email it was replaced. Well guess what??? The replacement to the replacement has broken!! Needless to say I am not happy at all. Unfortunately this will be my last Fitbit product. My next watch will be an Apple. I loved being able to connect with friends for challenges and the community. But I am so tired of issues with the bands. Can’t wait to see it the replacement band will work or not.

@Boogie4God Welcome! It's good that the community is growing! Sorry for the delay in my reply.

Sorry to hear about your experience with the Versa bands. Hopefully this new band you mention will work fine for you. My personally experience has been different as the band has lasted a long time before needing replacement (I did replace it but was after more than a year wearing it and I go to the gym). Still hope you enjoy whichever device you use and that you can keep your healthy lifestyle.

I'll be around.

Same happened with me and Fitbit not willing to replace the replacement that has tore again. Very poor customer service.  Apple Watch here I come as well.

Hello @Msalscheider, welcome to the Fitbit Community forums.

I'm sorry to see that you've experienced trouble with the wristbands of your Fitbit Versa.

It is particularly difficult when the watch is no longer covered by the warranty, but even tough Support is eager to help with any problem you may experience with the product, they do need to adhere to the official warranty policy, this would start counting from the original date of purchase.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback about the product; comments from users are always useful to continue to improving the quality of products and services.

Let me know if you have further questions.

It is really sad that we pay for a product and the only way to obtain a different non plastic band is to pay more money. I loved the product but no more.

i was given three bands to go with my versa 2.  two of the three broke within weeks;  the third will be attached in the next few minutes.  i'm retired, and not particularly rough on wrist bands, but apparently i'm either toxic to the in-box bands or the quality control used for those bands is non-existent...  now i need to find a non-fitbit band that will work before this third one goes bad.

sigh.

lovely.  the third band does not want to attach to the versa...  not sure i could be unhappier with this situation...
