Versa battery drains quickly

Fitbit just replaced my Versa due to an issue with the battery charger- I’ve had the new Versa for about 2 weeks.  The first week the battery lasted about 3 days and now it lasts only a day of that. Any ideas?

thanks

Hi there @Jerrie.ann16, welcome to the Community Forums. I'm sorry to hear that your Versa's battery life is not lasting as expected. Thanks for the details provided in your post, I'll be glad to continue helping you.

As you may know, your Versa battery should last up to 4 days. However, as with other electronic devices, the battery will depend on the features and how often they're used, such as the GPS, Spotify app or animated clock faces. While this doesn't mean that you shouldn't use them, please take into into consideration the conditions that impact your watch's battery.

That being said, I'd recommend to change the clock face to one designed by Fitbit and please confirm if you've followed the tips and recommendations to maximize your watch's battery life described here.

I'm looking forward to your response.

Thank you for getting back to me.
I am using a Fitbit clock face... I use the gps from my phone and not the watch and have checked all apps that could be draining the battery. I started the day with 100% charge (at 5:30 am) and now at 6:30 pm my battery is at 39%.

I’m not sure what to do at this point. I haven’t been able to wear it at night so I’m not able to track sleep... I love my Fitbit but I need to figure out the battery situation.

Again my thanks for reaching out.

Hi there @Jerrie.ann16, thanks for getting back and for the update.

I appreciate you had followed the tips and recommendations provided above. Since this sounds a bit more serious, I've created a support case on your behalf - you should receive an email from Customer Support at the email you used to register with the Community forums. Note that we may take a bit long to get back to you since due to recent events affecting our operations, support options are limited and wait times are longer than usual.

I’m having the exact same issue with battery life.  Not to mention the screen scrambles and quite often wont even turn on.  I’ve changed no settings and use no gps or anything.  Haven’t even had the watch for a year....
